There was a fatal Will County vehicle accident Tuesday (November 25, 2014) in Bolingbrook.
The accident involved a crash between a car and semi trailer truck.

Bolingbrook police said the crash occurred at 6:54 p.m. when the semi-trailer was struck by a southbound car as it turned north on Joliet Road.
According to the Will County Coroner’s Office, the driver of the car, identified as John C. Snella, 70, of Countryside, was pronounced dead at 8:12 p.m. at the accident scene. A female passenger, a 76-year-old woman from Countryside, was taken to Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital for treatment of her injuries. She was in critical condition.
The driver of the semi, identified as a 30-year-old man from New York, was not injured during the collision.

There was a truck accident on Interstate 55 (I-55) Tuesday afternoon (November 18, 2014). This accident was a “rear-end crash” involving one semi running into the back of another on I-55 northbound at Weber Road.
According to the Illinois State Police, the accident happened at approximately 2:15 p.m.
Significant traffic congestion occurred after the accident.

There was a fatal Will County car accident early this morning (November 13, 2014) in Joliet.
According to the Joliet Police Department, the crash involved two vehicles, a car and an SUV, that were involved in a “head on” collision at approximately 3:20 a.m. The accident happened when the car, heading southbound on Larkin, collided with a GMC Yukon driving northbound. At the time of the accident, the car was attempting to make a left-hand turn onto Dellmar Avenue.
The driver of the car was identified as Rashad J. Stinson, 24, of Joliet. After being extricated from his car, he was pronounced dead at the accident scene at 4:38 a.m., according to the Will County Coroner’s Office.
The driver of the SUV, identified as an off-duty Joliet Police sergeant, was taken to Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet for treatment of accident injuries, which are considered to be non-life-threatening in nature.
