Matthew J. Greaney, 27, was the driver of a vehicle that struck another vehicle on Route 6 near Blodgett Road. He was taken to the Silver Cross Hospital emergency room, where he was pronounced dead at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

A subsequent autopsy performed by the Will County Coroner’s Office indicated that Greaney suffered multiple accident injuries.
